    It’s becoming the must-have skill. If you haven’t got VMware and some storage expertise on your CV, I think you’ll struggle to get noticed for any sort of infrastructure role. These are 2 so very fundamental elements to organisations and everyone knows when these go wrong, horrible things happen!

  2. Very true. Just VMware & VCP skillset has rapidly commoditised. You need VMware & VCP and A.N.Other skillset, e.g. storage or VDI or both!

    I’m thinking that with both VMware and Storage perm jobs hitting year high vacancy numbers and in the middle of August then that is a good news market indicator. If those year high numbers rise over the next few months then happy days all round!
