Anyone a whizz on functions in google spreadsheets!??! Please help!

Say I have in a cell the following information:

blahblahblahtheinformationineedblah1blah1blah1

and I want to strip out the information between blahblahblah and blah1blah1blah1, i.e. theinformationineed

How can I do this? Thinking its a funky split function?

All help gratefully received!

  1. Courtesy of a very clever guy called Alex Beavan an answer to the above would be:

    =SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(CELL, “blahblahblah”, “”), “blah1blah1blah1″,””)
